Often, people use Valentine’s Day as a day to show their loved ones that they care and that they are being thought of. What better way to show loved ones we are than by practicing ladder safety?
When you practice ladder safety, you show your loved ones that you care enough to return home safely to them. In fact, a common practice at some companies it to have workers keep a picture of loved ones in their pockets. If a worker is caught doing something unsafe, he or she has to pull out the picture to be reminded of why safety is important.
As you practice safety, here are a few things to remember:
- 1. Inspect your ladder
- 2. Maintain three points of contact
- 3. Keep your body between the rails
- 4. Set you ladder at the correct angle, 75.5 degrees
Remember these tips and be safe on your ladder. Show your loved ones you care by being safe!
